Avyloft

A flight companion that explains the view from your window and keeps the journey between departure and arrival.

The challenge

Most flight tools reduce a journey to status codes, leaving the experience in between out of view.

Made for iPhone and iPad, with a web app for planning and revisiting flights.

The direction

Avyloft is designed around geography, movement, and time. Before takeoff it prepares an offline guide for the expected route. In the air, Outside Now brings forward places that may be visible, with their side and approximate timing. After landing, Journey Photos, notes and highlights come together in one summary.
